The musical "Orchestra without a Name" based on the screenplay by Stanislav Stratiev will premiere in Plovdiv on August 1 at the Ancient Theater!

The musical we can't live without - "Orchestra without a Name" will be presented on the stage of the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv 40 years after the cult film was released. The role of Velko is entrusted to Marian Bachev, the young hope of the Bulgarian musical Borislav Vezhenov will be Philip, Gosheto will be played by Ioan Popov, and Nikolay Dogramadzhiev will play the role of Pavkata. The beautiful and talented singer and actress Volena Apostolova will worthily replace Kate Euro in the image of Reni, and Dimitrina Germanova will be the gentle and sensitive Vanya.
On August 1 in the city under the hills will sound 16 golden Bulgarian hits by Vasil Naidenov, "Tangra", "The Crickets", "Signal", FSB, LZ and Silvia Katsarova, "Kukeri", "Control" and "Tonika", as well as the song "We Stay" by Boris Karadimchev, which ends the film.

The scenographic and costume design solutions of Petar Mitev, as well as the choreography of Anastasia Nedelcheva recreate the 70s of the last century in our country. The musical instruments and even the foreign songs that sound in the film are also in line with the socialist era. And unlike film orchestras, the artists in the musical really sing.

An unnamed orchestra is a jux boxing musical, similar to Mamma Mia, with ready-made songs, and without interfering with the original arrangement, maestro Stracimir Pavlov adapted this rock and pop musical for orchestra with classical and pop musicians.
