The author Hristo Bozukov is 35 years old and is exhibiting his ten-year creative growth.
He transforms life into art and comparing them asks himself whether they are closely connected or opposing, whether they attract and complete each other.
From a philosophical point of view the painter’s work is focused on the difference of living a real life or creating a lot of fictional lives: his paintings. Are they imaginary universes or real worlds? –he gives us a choice, depending on what we prefer more. In this exhibition the author has collected a lot of different worlds of a single life through the different periods of development of the Image. The image as an author and the image as a creation-unique and inimitable.“ Each painting can be named “worlds”, as it is a single life, which you create, and if it is really beautiful and unique, it starts living its own life. ”Each painting has its own story, impression, challenge, colour, place, object, image – and everything we could imagine in an absolute and completely abstract universe of emotions and feelings.
“We, You, They – Hristo Bozukov ten years of creativity /Hristo Bozukov at ten” is not only an exhibition or retrospection. In the selection of his paintings could be seen an internally free, mastered and harmonious painter, who constantly interprets and represents his inner world in a modern way. That is a kind of self-portrait created by his creative pursuits and a representation of life through painting. Or to be more precise: representation of life through the prism of painting.
Hristo represents his accumulated emotions and impressions on the canvas, recreated through the colours of the paints as an expression means on the canvas and veiled in an inexplicable mysticity, poetry, music and dreams. The strong energy and the extreme rhythm of the canvas intensify our senses and blur the material boundaries, in order to reach unexpected depths of subconscious through the original insights in the creative interpretation of world and life.
The painter goes through different creative periods.
During 2020-2022 the author represents a new feeling expression resulting from his stay in the country of mills and tulips – The Netherlands. The greenery, the colours, the happy merging into one another colourful outpourings describe the emotional experience of the author. New acquaintances, new impressions, new moments.This could be used as a starting point for comparison with the author’s paintings created in different periods at his homeland – where are the author’s first steps in painting, passing through search, development, growth and provocation. That is his diary of experience.
The young painter is good at transferring his thoughts, emotions and dreams to the canvas, turning them into brave colourful parables, created with the help of the paints.
In this enormous and wonderful world it is easy to realize that the author devotes every moment in the recreation of certain elements of being into an entire spiritual reality, where he feels happy to continue his journey in art - true and dedicated to his work. His infinite imagination,the taste for weird and unordinary, the depth of his intellectual vision and reflection in his creations call inevitable respect.
