On April 12, 2014, will begin the first running race of 5kmrun.bg in Plovdiv! This will be the first one of our regular Saturday races on track “Sports venue”.
The 5 km. distance is measured from Garmin and is a full tour of the channel (clockwise) + about 250 meters in addition. The running starts at the beginning of the south side of the channel (near the hangars), passes through the official tribunes and after the full circle, finishes in front of the second platform for viewers. We are welcoming in the team of 5kmrun Vanya Kapusheva who as a chief organizer will be responsible for the overall organization of the running in Plovdiv. With her experience and especially her love of sports (orienteering, trekking and cycling) Vanya will be able to give the required look and atmosphere of our run. Let's wish her good luck :)
Now is the time to thank Plovdiv Municipality, the deputy mayor Mr. Tityukov and Mr. Zehtinski with his entire team who gave us the opportunity and wonderful conditions for the Saturday crosses!
