 The concert program includes works by Astor Piazzolla.

Astor Piazzolla, called in his homeland "El Gran Ástor" (The Great Astor) remains in musical history as "the great innovator of Argentine tango". In a unique way, he elevated tango from "street music" to music performed in concert halls. The language of the "tango nuevo" he created is revolutionary and specific, it incorporates elements of jazz and classical music, mixing them with street effects and motifs from the French chanson.
Stoyan Karaivanov - a young and talented bandoneonist, the only one in Bulgaria, eternally searching and self-improving. The sound of his bandoneon is deep, emotional, energetic, invigorating. Tsvetan Nedyalkov - a popular and remarkable guitarist whose mastery is beyond words. The two soloists together with the orchestra of the Shumen Symphony under the baton of maestro Kalina Vasileva will spin you in the tango of a unique evening!
