The second event of the series "The Successful" will present Diana Dobreva - actress and director, she is among the most respected and successful names in Bulgarian theatre.

The meeting is on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:30 pm at the club "Fargo". Entrance is free!

The "The Successful" series aims to introduce young people to prominent professionals from the fields of sports, cinema, theatre, literature, journalism. Guests will share the path they have taken to reach the goals they once dreamed of. About the qualities they needed and the mistakes they made. The meetings take place at the Fargo Club, which has hosted many events related to literature and cinema. Among the guests so far have been highly successful world personalities such as Ted Kochev, Able Ferrara and Bille August, as well as native names such as Dimitar Marinov, Georgi Gospodinov, Gerasim Georgiev-Gero, Malin Krastev, Stefan Komandarev, Viktor Bojinov and others.

By the end of the year, the "Successful" event series will introduce you to seven inspiring names. The events are supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv and are part of the city's 2022 Cultural Calendar.

What is "success" for you? If we ask ten people, we will probably get ten different answers. Whether we are talking about material, professional or family success, some individuals obviously impress us with what they have achieved. They arouse our curiosity, we want to know more about their philosophy, motivation, circumstances or simply the luck they had. So we decided to introduce you to seven people we sincerely admire.

After the first meeting with the writer and journalist Ivo Ivanov, which aroused great interest, we are very pleased to introduce the second guest - Diana Dobreva. Actress and director, she is among the most respected and successful names in Bulgarian theatre. In 2006 she staged the performance "Medea" at Sfumato, for which she received the "Asker" award for her directorial debut and a nomination for the "Icarus" award. Her next directing performance was Macbeth (2008 Askeer Awards for costumes and music).

 In 2009, she staged her original play "Casanova" at the "Tear and Laughter" Theatre, with which she participated in the prestigious theatre festival in Avignon, France.

In 2014 she staged the play "The House of Anger" at the "Resurgence" theatre. "The House of Anger" was nominated in 4 categories for the Askeer, winning the award for "best performance" in 2015.

In 2021, he is staging Silk on the stage of the Plovdiv Drama Theatre and The People of Vazov on the stage of the National Theatre.
