On 3 October 2022 (Monday) at 14.00 in the exhibition space on the first floor of the National Library "Ivan Vazov" - Plovdiv will be opened the exhibition "Judging Shaw", dedicated to the Irish playwright and writer George Bernard Shaw.

It includes 13 panels with images from Shaw's life, accompanied by text in Bulgarian. The author is particularly popular in this country for his plays "Pygmalion", "Mrs. Warren's Profession" and "The House of Broken Hearts", as well as for his aphorisms and witticisms. The exhibition is a joint initiative of the Embassy of Ireland in Bulgaria and the Ivan Vazov National Library - Plovdiv.

Martina Feeney - Ambassador of Ireland to the Republic of Bulgaria will take part in the opening ceremony.
