Violin Concert by Viktor Vassilev

On October 14, 2022 (Friday) at 11.00 a.m. in the Art Theater of the National Library "Ivan Vazov" - Plovdiv will be held a violin concert by Viktor Vassilev, a student at the Dobrin Petkov National School Of Music And Dance. The event is part of the traditionally good cooperation between the Library and the Music School.

Viktor Vassilev was born in 2007 in Plovdiv. He has been studying violin since the age of 4. Currently, besides being a student at the Dobrin Petkov National School Of Music And Dance, he is an extraordinary junior student in the class of prof. He is also a student at the New Bulgarian University - Sofia. He has won many prizes at competitions in Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc. He has soloed with the symphony orchestras of Plovdiv, Shumen and Vratsa, as well as with the Sofia Soloists, Symphony Orchestra - Sofia, String Orchestra - Haskovo, etc.

The program includes:
J.S. Bach - Adagio and Fugue from Solo Sonata No. 1 for violin in G minor
W.A. Mozart - Violin Concerto No. 3 in Solo Major, 1 movement
М. Bruch - Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, 2nd and 3rd movements
P.I. Tchaikovsky - Waltz-Serzo
