The Boris Hristov Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Municipality of Plovdiv, is implementing the Sport Against Aggression project. The initiative is implemented with the financial support of the National Programme for the Implementation of Youth Activities.

The project addresses the increasingly relevant issue in the contemporary context - sustainable reduction of aggression with a focus on building a zero-tolerance attitude towards violence by activating the entire community in efforts to build a safe environment.

The aim of the project is to link the reduction of aggression with a sustainable response to the needs of young people by finding support and creating a sense of significance in the community and group.

The activities implemented in the framework of the project are the holding of three festival days in the cities of Vidin, Burgas and Plovdiv and are developed in response to the observed negative trends regarding different forms of aggression, addictions and risky behaviour among young people. The target groups are young people aged 15-19, 20-24 and 25-29. Each of the target groups has different needs, which leads to a diversification of aggression prevention.

The project aims to lay the foundation for building a community mindset for change in recognizing, preventing, and preventing forms of violence and bullying through awareness of one's own behavior and the behaviors of others.

All trainings, events and the concert are free to attend for participants and residents. Youth and young women who complete the training will be certified as Sports Against Aggression Ambassadors.
