The six penguins have white, fluffy bellies and a bit of a clumsy mind. The naughty, noisy heroes have gone to play in the ice. They don't yet know fear, but their curiosity will lead them right to the fierce polar bear. Before that, though, they'll enter the mouth of a sperm whale and meet a deep-thinking, one-armed camel.

Six Penguins by Boris Aprilov, our theatre's latest puppet show, is an undisputed classic of the genre. For adults, the play seems to show once again that true courage comes from those who know what to fear. But if you are a young child reaching for the Secret of Life, fear often looks like recklessness. Which is the beginning of beauty.
