Here is more about the participants of the "Plovdiv Stories Night":
Ivan Krachanov - Head of the Digital Center at the Ivan Vazov National Library. The institution recently presented its new Digital Library, created under a project of the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation. The library contains periodicals, books, photographs, graphic editions, maps, manuscripts, etc. At the event, the collection "Projects of monumental works", which is stored in the library, will be presented. These are 95 drawings on cardboard, created by some of the most famous Plovdiv artists - Ioan Leviev, Dimitar Kirov, Encho Pironkov and Anastasia Kmetova. These drawings are projects, made in scale, for the artistic design of the urban environment - murals, sgraffito, mosaics, etc. Most of these projects have been realized and Plovdiv citizens pass by them every day.
Violeta Nikolova (PR) and Svetlana Vassileva (museum educator) - Regional Ethnographic Museum Plovdiv. We will learn the history of the 175-year-old Kuyumcioglu House, which houses the museum, as well as what are the stories behind some of the exhibits from the collections of REM Plovdiv.
Katerina Georgieva - theatre archaeologist and playwright. She started working three years ago at the Plovdiv Drama Theatre, and was invited with the main goal of researching, restoring and organizing the archives of the 140-year-old theatre. As a continuation of this process, she created the Facebook group "Theatre Chronicles". One of the big goals of the Drama Theatre is to grow all this into a museum that both as a place and as a digital space preserves its memory.

WHAT IS A NIGHT OF STORIES?
The festival event "Night of Stories" takes place in two formats - in the first, popular personalities tell their personal, family or ancestral stories; in the second, experts tell urban stories. The first edition of the Night of Stories took place in Sofia in May 2019 with the participation of famous poets and writers. In September 2019, Night of Stories will visit Plovdiv as part of the official programme of Plovdiv 2019 - European Capital of Culture. The September 2020 edition of Night of Stories, supported by the Capital Culture Programme, was dedicated to Sofia. The founder of the Night of Stories is Momchil Tsonev, who also organizes the 6Fest Street Art Festival in Plovdiv.
