Music Sector and Digital Transformation Seminar
The Bulgarian Association of Music Producers /BAMP/ and the Bulgarian Music Association /BMA/ initiated a series of training sessions - seminars around the country, aimed at artists-performers and independent producers.
The meetings will include training on copyright and related rights in the digital world, as well as tax and insurance rights for performing artists. The activities and projects of both organisations that artists can benefit from will also be presented.
Each meeting will be implemented in two modules. In the first one Stanislava Armutlieva from Virginia Records, chairman of the BAMP Board, will present different digital platforms and the ways of licensing music rights to them, what is ISRC code, what are the legal features of musicians' rights, what are the marketing tools for music promotion.
In the second module the chairman of the Bulgarian Music Association prof. Hristo Yotsov will talk about the activities of the organization, and its Executive Director Dr. Mirena Staneva will talk about the main directions in which the BMA works for the benefit of the music sector. An open discussion with members of the BMA Board and staff is also planned, with the aim of identifying specific problems that hinder the successful work of musicians and defining the main specific needs for the recovery of the sector in different regions of the country.
