The Doors of Charity

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first celebration of the Day of the National Awakeners and the 160th anniversary of the birth of the donor, public figure and awakener Dimitar Kudoglu, the team of Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute has created the project "The Doors of Charity", which is implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Plovdiv - Central District, Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts Prof. Asen Diamandiev - Plovdiv, Drama Theater - Plovdiv, Regional State Archive - ​​Plovdiv, Consortium "Art and Education", Ivan Vazov National Library , Medical University - Plovdiv.

For the first time the authentic doors of the legendary "House of Charity and National Health" will be publicly exhibited, accompanied by a documentary exhibition with authors Dr. Maya Lesinska and Dr. Stefan Shivachev, a presentation of interesting fragments of the history of the House of National Health and Charity and a musical performance of the anthem of the House.
