Concert of the French pianist Maxim Zékini

The French Institute for Bulgaria and Alliance Française present in Plovdiv a concert of the virtuoso pianist Maxim Zékini. The event is on Friday, November 4, at 7pm at Radio Plovdiv - Studio 1 and is free admission. In the programme we will hear works for left hand by Scriabin, Sankan, Masni Bellini, Ravel and works for two hands by Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Debussy, Leogrand.
Maxime ZECCHINI was born in Paris. He graduated from the Conservatoire National de Musique de Lyon in the class of Géry Moutier and Danièle Renault-Fasquelle, where he received the National Diploma of Higher Music Studies - DNESM - with unanimous distinction and congratulations from the jury. He was subsequently accepted at the Conservatoire National de Musique in Paris in the advanced cycle in the class of Jean-François Heisser. He also benefited from the regular advice of Laurent Cabasseau and Olivier Casal. 
The first French pianist to graduate from the prestigious Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, Italy, he won the Arcachon International Competition, the Normandy International Competition, the Cziffra Foundation Prize, and the Ragusa-Ibla Prize in Sicily. 
He unanimously won first prize at the Varenna-Lake Como International Competition in Italy. 
Maxime Zecchini has also won awards from the Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet Vocation Foundation, Meyer Foundation and Societe Generale Musical Patronage. He has been noticed by Centenary Ministerial Mission and is supported by the Bru Zane Foundation in Venice. He has performed at numerous festivals, including the Seine Musicale, Salle Gaveau, Théâtre du Châtelet, Beijing Opera, Shanghai Opera, Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and Kiev Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia, the Pasdelup Orchestra, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra, the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic Orchestra. .. 
He has toured to more than fifty countries: Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, South Korea, Japan, South Africa, Australia, Russia, Central America... His recordings are collected on ten discs (9 of which are now available) of an anthology of works for the left hand - solo piano, piano and orchestral concertos, chamber music - presented in a world premiere discography edition (AdVitam Records / PIAS-Harmonia Mundi label). This project has been widely acclaimed by the press (FFFF by Télérama, 4 gold keys by Diapason, 4 stars by Classica, Le Monde) and has been the subject of numerous broadcasts on France Musique, Radio Classique, France Inter, France Culture, as well as television broadcasts in many countries. 
An eclectic musician, Maxime Zecchini has performed recitals with singer Julia Midgenes and reading concerts with actress Anouk Emme. A composer, he has written numerous transcriptions, and his original works have been published by Editions Durand-Salabert-Universal Music. He has already made his New York debut at Carnegie Hall in May 2022.
