The glory of the play is proverbial. "The best Bulgarian comedy" - this is how this story has been defined since it was written until now. What caused this? Should we expect meaningful lessons or insightful philosophical discoveries through the medicine of laughter?
The characters in this story of relatives and loved ones. An urban stratum with longings and dreams of civilization. Beauty, grace and skills to present yourself well in "society" so modest and non-threatening their desires seem. But if there is desire, passion is born, and if there is passion, war begins. This is what we really find on the stage - it has really become a battlefield. And there, insured or pitiful, heavily armed or with whatever intention, the heroes of this play fight for complete victory over everyone around, until complete exhaustion.
