On 9 December 2022 at 18.00 in Ivan Vazov National Library - Plovdiv the initiative "Pharmacy for the Soul" organizes a meeting with the mountaineer Zheko Vatev, who will present the four peaks - Matterhorn /Europe/, Alpamayo /America/, Ama Dablam and Khan Tengri /Asia/. He is the only Bulgarian who has climbed them. Zheko Vatev has been mountaineering for more than 40 years. He has numerous expeditions in Nepal, India and Pakistan. On May 10, 2007 he climbed the eight-thousander Cho Oyu /8201 m/. He has reached the four continental summits of Elbrus /Europe/, McKinley/Denali /North America/, Aconcagua /South America/ and Kilimanjaro /Africa/. Zheko Vutev is a participant in the first Bulgarian Himalayan premiere "Between the light and the shadow" on the Talai Sagar peak in the Himalayas - India. The expedition time he has spent in the high mountains is over two calendar years.
It remains a dream for Zheko Vutev to climb the K2 peak in Karakorum, Pakistan.
