VACON Publishing presents SHACKULTON - THE UNSOLOMIC RESEARCHER WHO DID NOT REACH THE SOUTH POLE by Javier Cacho.

About the book:
Resisting, Overcoming.
Ernest Shackleton
History remembers Ernest Shackleton as the explorer who always managed to get his men out alive, even from the most extreme dangers.
Capable of dreaming up the most fearsome adventures and orchestrating them in record time, Shackleton could come face to face with the most difficult situations and avoid disaster when all seemed already irretrievably lost. He has more than optimism and enthusiasm: an inexhaustible energy that allows him to overcome even the most difficult obstacles. His leadership skills infect his people with the belief that they can handle anything, or at least should try.
This book reveals the life of a tireless explorer and charming leader whose resilience, courage and selflessness became legendary. Although he never reached the South Pole he so dearly dreamed of, Shackleton remains in history as one of the greatest polar explorers and his image continues to be shrouded in a heroic halo.
