Intelligent humour, energetic plot and memorable characters will be seen in Plovdiv residents in the comedy "Jealousy" by Sam Bobrik - premiere of the Viva Arte Theatre for the 2022/2023 season, which will be performed in Plovdiv for the first time.

Jealousy will be performed on Plovdiv stage on 27 February 2023, at 17:00 and 19.00 at the Boris Hristov House of Culture.

In the main roles in "Jealousy", after seventeen years of glamorous partnership in the play "Enchanted Night", we will again see the beloved actors - Assen Blatechki and Maria Sapundzhieva. The two audience favourites have been partnering on stage for years, and their friendship in the theatre and in life is a guarantee for the success of their joint projects. The talented Stefan Ivanov and the young star of "Adriana Budevska" Theatre - Pepa Nikolova also find a remarkable place in the team.  And the nuances of sadness, laughter and absurdity in the plot are skillfully emphasized by the director Borislav Chakrinov.

Brian is perfectly content with the monotony of married life, but Mary is looking for more emotion in her unexciting everyday life and finds it when her ex-boyfriend from college, Peter, appears most unexpectedly on their doorstep... or does he exist only in her fantasies? And will young Tori, posing as Brian's imaginary lover, be able to reignite the spark in the stale family relationship?
