Ballet of the State Opera Stara Zagora visits Plovdiv with "Swan Lake"
On 16 February, Thursday, at 19:00 the Ballet of the State Opera-Stara Zagora will present the performance of the ballet "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky on the stage of the Boris Hristov House of Culture in Plovdiv. The visit to Plovdiv comes a few days after the ballet company's return from a major and highly successful tour to Germany and the Netherlands with performances of the ballets Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
In the main roles the Plovdiv audience will see the prima ballerina of the State Opera-Stara Zagora Anelia Dimitrova in the role of Odette / Odelia, Prince Siegfried is the young and very talented Demyan Reshetnyak from Ukraine, Rothbart will be the magnificent Ivaylo Yanev, and in the role of the Jester will dance the virtuoso Tomoki Ishigo from Japan. In Pa de trois, the audience will have the opportunity to applaud Haruka Suga, Bogdana Sergeeva and the company's newest premier soloist, the extraordinary Jorge Barani. In Swan Lake by P. И. Tchaikovsky, the entire multinational ballet company of the State Opera-Stara Zagora and children from the Children's and Youth Studio for Opera and Ballet of the State Opera-Stara Zagora take part.
