The exhibition will be opened on 8 February 2023 at 18:00 in the building of the Regional Natural History Museum - Plovdiv.

Nikolay Boev is a famous zoologist, ornithologist, world-class scientist, founder of the study and conservation of nature and the environment in Bulgaria. In addition, he was among the first illustrators of scientific publications in Bulgaria and the author of a large number of caricatures of scientists from around the world.
The exhibition presents original illustrations, drawings, projects, as well as panels with photographs and brief information about the life, professional career and artistic activity of Nikolai Boev.
A new edition of one of Nikolai Boev's books, While the Larks Sing, will be presented during the opening of the exhibition.
The exposition "100 Years of Nikolai Boev" will be on display from 8 February 2023 to 28 February 2023 at the Regional Natural History Museum - Plovdiv. The exhibition is realized by Regional History Museum - Sofia in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History at BAS and SAFNI, and thanks to prof. Zlatozar Boev (son of Nikolay Boev and owner of the works).
