Anelia Pavlova was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She is a native of Plovdiv. By education she has a PhD in Zoology - Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" - Plovdiv. She is a Ph. Her scientific interests are fungus gnats, biospeleology and bats. She was a graduate student at the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig, Bonn (Germany) and a volunteer at the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale, Verona (Italy). Her current projects are related to research on fungus gnats in Mediterranean and sub-Mediterranean habitats. Studies on fungal mosquitoes in subterranean ecosystems.
On Wednesday 22.02.2023 at 18:00 Dr. Anelia Pavlova will present information on the status of bats in Plovdiv, which is based on the recent article by Stanimira Deleva and the lecturer in the scientific journal of the Regional Museum of Natural History - Plovdiv.
The meeting presentation is based on the idea of Elena Stoeva, who will present the Green Balkans project "Nature has no voice, it has us", which is implemented by the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation and Green Balkans with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the Active Citizens Bulgaria Fund within the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.
The presentation is suitable for high school students and adults. Of course, younger bat fans are also welcome.
