Chamber Scene Plovdiv 2023: New York Standards Trio
"Chamber Scene Plovdiv" opens its new Season 2023 with a fantastic concert on March 24, 2023 at 19.00 in the First Studio of Radio Plovdiv. The New York Standards Trio are three like-minded artists with a distinctive and sophisticated style in tune with the trends of the contemporary New York jazz scene. They are pianist Kan Chankaya, bassist Apostolos Sideris and drummer Alex Louloudis. Although it's not obvious from the name, the group directs its efforts and energy toward musical interpretations outside the standard jazz context. Using and further developing the expressive means and improvisational spirit of our well-known jazz concept, the trio will present their original music at the Plovdiv Chamber Stage in a unique and modern style.
Tickets for the concert are on sale in the Еventim network, as well as at the venue before the event. "Chamber Scene Plovdiv" is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2023.
