Denislav Sirakov, Persona - sculpture and sketch exhibition

On March 22, Art Gallery Aspect presents an extremely interesting author new to the gallery - Denislav Sirakov. "Persona" is the sculptor's first solo exhibition in the city under the hills.
"Persona - with this motto of the exhibition I want to emphasize the aspect of one's character, personality or object that presents itself to others, or the image one consciously or unconsciously projects to the world. It can be seen as a public persona or "mask" that someone wears in social situations or when interacting with others. " - shares Denislav Sirakov.
The exposition presents nine sculptures of bronze, one of Carrara marble, as well as two panels made of metal, marble and 23 carat gold. On the walls of the gallery are exhibited 9 sketches created in the last year, entirely for the participation in Aspect.
The culmination of Denislav Sirakov's exhibition will be the imposing, two-meter metal sculpture "FUNKY", which will be located in the open spaces in front of the gallery.
The exhibition opens on March 22, Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m. and will remain in the gallery until April 11.
About the author:
Denislav Sirakov was born on January 30, 1977 in the city of Plovdiv. He became passionate about sculpture alongside his father Ivan Sirakov.
In 1997, he was accepted as a student in the "Sculpture" specialty, and in 2002 he received his master's degree under Prof. Milan Andreev.
In addition to sculpture, Denislav Sirakov is also involved in casting and restoration. Restored and made dozens of monuments in Bulgaria. Among them are numerous monuments to those who died in the wars.
For his large-scale creative activity, Denislav Sirakov is the recipient of the prestigious "Culture" award of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo.
