Easter creative workshop for children, with the participation of students and teachers from the National High School for Performing and Screen Arts, St. Petersburg. Plovdiv
Once again, the Municipality of Plovdiv and the National High School for Performing and Screen Arts - Plovdiv give joyful Easter fun to the children of Plovdiv. During the holidays on 13 and 15 April (Maundy Thursday and Holy Saturday, when eggs are dyed), from 10.00 to 13.00, at the Plovdiv Square. "Easter creative workshop for children" is organized. All those who wish can decorate Easter eggs of their own design, and the talented graduates of the National School of Performing and Screen Arts will help and encourage them. Decorative eggs made from styrofoam, eco-friendly water-soluble paints for decorating, paintbrushes and support from the school's young artists are provided. Facilities have been provided so that 15 children at a time will be able to paint on a total of 200 Easter eggs to take home afterwards.
The grassy areas in front of the Plovdiv Municipality will again be decorated with the large beautifully painted eggs, renewed by the children of the school, which will again this year bring joy and cheer to the citizens of Plovdiv.

Festive concert of Nikolina Chakardakova and Nevrokop Dance Ensemble
Nikolina Chakardakova is a performer who has transformed the perception of folk music in Bulgaria. There is no one who does not know the woman with a hat and trousers who sings and dances. Together with Nevrokop Dance Ensemble, she will delight all her fans from Plovdiv with melodious songs, lots of music and whirling dances. They will immerse the audience in the magic of folk music, which will witness a "fairy tale" about continuity, about the first tremors, about love, about expectation, about dreams, about the urge to sing and dance.
For years Nikolina Chakardakova and Nevrokop Dance Ensemble have not visited the city under the hills, so especially for Plovdiv residents, Nikolina will sing some of her newest songs, and Nevrokop Dance Ensemble will delight Plovdiv residents with new choreographies. Some of Nikolina Chakardakova's most loved and popular songs will not be missed. There will also be a lot of peoplè with all who have come to see her on Sunday.
With their rich folklore program Nikolina Chakardakova and Nevrokop Dance Ensemble promise an unforgettable Bulgarian holiday on the square in front of Plovdiv Municipality with lots of music, whirling dances and beloved folk songs that will make everyone sing and dance.

Festive concert of the Wind Orchestra - Plovdiv, conductor Nikolay Geshev
Wind Orchestra - Plovdiv with its leader and conductor Nikolay Geshev is the bearer and continuator of the rich musical traditions of the genre in the city. The City Wind Orchestra has been an emblematic formation of Plovdiv for 40 years. The orchestra was closed down in 2000 due to lack of funds for maintenance, but in 2007 efforts were made for its restoration and since then it has again delighted Plovdiv residents with its rich repertoire and wonderful sound. The wind orchestra and the Big Band - Plovdiv are the two formations that traditionally participate in all city celebrations.

Easter Holy Week Concert with the choir "Evmolpeya", conductor - Dr. Alia Hanse, keyboard accompaniment - Yordanka Ivanova
The choir "Evmolpeya" at CPRL - ODK - Plovdiv was founded in 2006 and in its concert composition participate girls from 9 to 19 years from 23 Plovdiv educational institutions. Every year it performs about 15 collective and individual concerts. Their repertoire includes songs in 17 languages and ranges from Bulgarian children's songs, folk songs and arrangements to choral works specially composed for choir. The Evmolpeya Choir is a recipient of the Ambassador of Goodwill award. The artistic biography of the choir includes 29 concert tours in 16 countries of Europe.

The audience will enjoy a concert with an extremely varied and interesting program, within the framework of the projects "World Bulgarian Works" and "Music for Everyone", supported by the National Culture Fund. In the first part, under the title "Music for Everyone", world masterpieces for soprano, flute and piano will be heard, such as Leo Delibes - "Nightingale", Maurice Ravel - "Scheherazade" and others.
In the second part, under the title "World Bulgarian Works", Bulgarian masterpieces for flute and piano will be heard, together with works by European and world composers of the 20th century, and the audience will be convinced of the world level of the Bulgarian composing school in the 20th century.
