Kamen Donev has blown dozens of towns out of their minds with laughter. Favorite lines from his performances have been passed from mouth to mouth throughout Bulgaria and beyond... as folk art. With his inimitable sense of humour, he manages to touch upon phenomena we can be proud of as Bulgarians, as well as issues affecting all strata of our society.
Undoubtedly, the highest achievement he has reached so far is the mono-performance "A teacher's views on folk art". Since the premiere, which took place on October 16, 2007, the play has yet to be performed for the 555th time. The biggest accolade for the show is its 330,000 spectators - an achievement that no Bulgarian show in the history of theatre can boast.
