Festival of Youth and Teen Creativity "Young Blue Land"
And this year for the 13th time we are pleased to invite you to our festival for youth and teenage creativity "YOUNG BLUE LAND".
The festival will take place from 21st to 22nd April 2023.
It is open to children and young people aged 5 to 18 years old, who will present their works and performances in the categories of "Fine Arts", "Music" and "Dance".
Participants will be divided into age groups (up to 10 years and over 10 years) and will be judged by a specialist jury in their respective fields.
* On the first day of the festival - 21.04.23 /Friday/ between 10:30 and 16:00 in the foyer of the museum will take place the performances in the categories "Music" and "Dance".
* Also on the first day of the festival - 21.04.2023 (Friday) at 17:00, in the Planetarium Hall, all winners of the TOMBOLA, who won a free ticket, will have the opportunity to attend the PREMIERE of the newest film - a production of the Regional Museum of Natural History Plovdiv together with the European Space Agency - "OUR PRICELESS PLANET".
* The premiere of the winners of the raffle for a free ticket to the PREMIERE of the film OUR PRICELESS PLANET.for the winners of the raffle in the hall "Planetarium" will be broadcast the PREMIERE of the newest film of the Regional Museum of Natural History Plovdiv, jointly with the European Space Agency "OUR PRICELESS PLANET".
* During the event, the works of the participants in the category "Fine Art" will be exhibited in the museum building. The theme for the category is "Our Priceless Planet," inspired by the Museum's latest Planetarium film, which will premiere on the first day of the festival.
As we do every year, we have provided certificates and prizes for the top-rated talents.
* On the second day of the festival - 22.04.23 /Saturday/, International Earth Day we have organized various workshops, educational games and many surprises that will take place from 10:30 to 16:00 in the exhibition halls of the museum.
* The Green Balkans team will present "The Living Exhibition". The exhibition presents life-size models and coloring of rare and protected bird species that occur in the Green Belt in Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey - Lesser Kestrel, Imperial Eagle, Red-breasted Goose and others. The exhibition will be located in the "Exhibition Hall" of the Regional Museum of Natural History Plovdiv.
* ArteVision Association have prepared an art workshop and a fun game.
