The production "A Place Called Elsewhere" starring Boryana Bratoeva and Petar Antonov will be staged in Plovdiv on 12 June 2023 at the Orpheus Summer Theatre. The beginning is at 20.00. 

The director Dimitar Kotsev - Shosho and the magnificent actors Boryana Bratoeva and Peter Antonov involve us in an extremely funny and shockingly honest story, revealing the male and female point of view when love is around.

"A Place Called Elsewhere is the latest text by one of the most buzzed-about contemporary playwrights - Yana Borisova. Set and costume design by Ellis Veli, music by Milen Kukosharov

 The action takes us to the building where Denis lives - a former famous TV presenter with a glamorous past and a sad present. After a dramatic break-up with the woman he calls "the love of my life", Denis retreats from television and the spotlight and indulges in drinking and self-pity. Coincidentally, a young actress, Mia, moves into the apartment next door. With no regard for anything other than her own need to communicate, share and live actively, she bursts into Dennis' life and everything changes for both of them. After some resistance, Dennis befriends and becomes attached to the girl. Unbeknownst to him, she becomes his lifeline, a source of inspiration and desire for life. In turn, Mia finds a true friend with a wealth of emotional experience and wisdom that every young person needs as they grow up.
