Carla (Maya Bezhanska) is a charming and dynamic woman, devoted entirely to her husband Francois (Mikhail Bilalov). For 30 years their glamorous life in the heart of Paris cannot be shaken by anything. But one day Carla receives a letter with extraordinary news concerning her past. It lands like a sledgehammer on François's head and is about to kill both his career as a politician and his perfect family tandem with Carla. And since a disaster never comes alone, their adopted daughter Louisa (Theona Dimova) and her husband-to-be (Assen Dankov) also have something to add to the picture.
