The film "Appassionata" presents this initiative and its main participants. It also shows the work process on the recordings of Donka Angcheva's latest album - "Childhood Memories", which brings back her childhood and the cozy and warm atmosphere of her native Plovdiv with music. The music in "Childhood Memories" goes through baroque, romantic, contemporary classical music, tango nuevo to Morricone, which is presented with the theme from the series "Octopus" - another vivid memory of childhood in Bulgaria. The album also includes a composition for piano and orchestra by Milen Kokusharov, which he dedicated to his childhood friend and native Plovdiv - Donka Angcheva.

What is the path of the talented and beautiful Plovdiv girl to the world stage? Who are the people who are next to her, what is the contribution of her homeland and her family. The film is a very beautiful and dynamic journey, in which we see the splendor of Vienna, voiced by the virtuoso piano performances of Donka Angcheva. On this trip, she was masterfully guided by the most popular Bulgarian cultural journalist, Georgi Toshev, and the beautiful shots were the work of top cameraman Boris Pintev. The editor and director of the film is Kaloyana Klimentova.
