I paint with the spirit of Maestro Di Kiro!
Every year on the 20th of May, the great artist Dimitar Kirov would celebrate his birthday with a new painting created in the early morning, and in the evening he would gather his friends for an exhibition.
The team of the Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute celebrated the Maestro's birthday with the second edition of the painting plein air "I paint with the spirit of Maestro Di Kiro!".
On 19 May 2023, the curator of the Stambolyan House, where the permanent exhibition of Di Kiro is located, gathers young talents for a creative meeting. 11 graduates of the National Art School "Tsanko Lavrenov" are participating in the plein-air, and the created canvases can be viewed in a special representative exhibition from May 30 to June 9, 2023.
The Stambolyan House is open 09:30 - 18:00 (Sundays and Mondays are closed) and can be found in Old Plovdiv, 15 Kiril Nektariev Street.
