On 1 June - Children's Day at 18.00. Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv will present its new children's educational book "Adventures with Argir". 

The booklet is aimed at age group 1-5 grade. It incorporates the idea of multidisciplinarity, including elements of English language through "reading comprehension" with follow-up questions; Mathematics - presented attractively with several fun tasks; elements of natural sciences - introduction to dyeing from nature and healing practices in the past.

The themes are related to both traditional Bulgarian culture and urban culture, the child will be able to compare and draw a parallel between them. The main character and narrator is the owner of the house himself - Argyr Kuyumcioglu. At the end of the adventure, he presents a key to our common home - the Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv with the possibility of one free visit per child.

The project was realized with the financial support of the National Fund "Culture" under the "Program for Restoration and Development of State, Regional and Municipal Cultural Institutes".

During the whole day of June 1, the entrance for children under 14 will be free. When purchasing the booklet "Adventures with Argir", each child will be admitted free of charge with an accompanying adult. Our team will be on hand to help with the tasks.
