Children's Day in the Old Town
The Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute traditionally organizes a rich and interesting program dedicated to June 1 - International Children's Day. This year "Children's Day in the Old Town" will be held from May 27 to June 4, inclusive. Plovdiv citizens and guests will have the opportunity to visit events oriented to all ages, and of course especially to children.
The team of the Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv" will again intertwine in an exciting way the mystery of cultural and historical heritage and the creativity of children to give them unforgettable memories and new knowledge.

Art workshop - music and painting with mentors - music teacher Snezhana Ilinova and Karamfila Pruhcharova - curator of Balabanov House
Program by sections:
MUSICAL PAINTINGS - drawing on the theme of the titles of the plays.
FINGERPRINTS
Drawing pictures with fingerprints and learning about staging while playing the piano. Using colouring to discover the exact shaping of the hand and fingers for playing. The fingerprints are used to 'play' a simple melody, with the playing children helping the drawing children to the appropriate colours and fingers. Hands are cleaned and the melody is played on the piano.
DRAWING RIT
Using elements of different lengths (rectangles, dashes, wavy lines, etc.) depict an elementary rhythm. Playing an arbitrary tone on the piano.
DRAWING A MELODY
With a selected element (snowflake, heart, circle, star, etc.) depicting the melody line of an easy song.

01.06.2023 (Thursday), 11:30 - 17:00, Stambolyan House, exposition Dimitar Kirov - project LEND A HAND, SEND A DREAM, AMONG THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE CITY,
In the courtyard of the Stambolyan House are formed, and the children on a rotational basis will visit, different creative art zones. During breaks, in the courtyard, children will be provided with packed snacks, water and time to relax, where they will receive a variety of knowledge.
