Regional Museum of Natural History - Plovdiv, Procredit Bank, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at  Paisii Hilendarski Plovdiv University. Plovdiv are pleased to invite you on 4 and 5 June 2023 to an event for children's creativity in the open - "I take care of my city" - making models from recycled materials.

On the occasion of the European Year of Skills 2023 and the World Environment Day - 5 June, the Natural History Museum in Plovdiv announces a creative competition "I take care of my city"!
The competition is dedicated to World Environment Day - 5 June and focuses on environmental education and the role of children in their relationship with nature. This year the theme of World Environment Day is - "Investing in our planet". 
The competition is for children aged 7 to 14 and will be held in two categories with a limit of 1 entry per participant:
- First category - for children from 7 to 10 years
- Second category - for children from 11 to 14 years 

Free choice of materials and techniques for making models
The idea of the competition is to encourage the use of waste materials - natural natural materials through the creation of models, to remind us how important it is to connect people with nature and to draw children's attention to this. The call is to get out in nature, appreciate its beauty and value, and protect our planet Earth.
The impact of creative youth products reflects a high environmental awareness and a sense of empathy and responsibility for the environment and its inhabitants.
On Sunday - 4 June from 10:00 to 16:00 in the Dondukov Garden, participants will make models and models from recycled materials, which you need to provide! On June 4 (Sunday) the works will be judged and the award ceremony will take place on Monday - June 5 "World Environment Day". 
It is compulsory to attach the following information about the participant to each entry: 

- Three names;
- School;
- Telephone number and contact email.

Entries will be judged by a professional jury and the top three places in each category will be awarded special prizes. 
There will be gifts for all the kids who participate - prefab birdhouses, and we have special prizes for the top three places in each category!
