The Regional Environmental and Water Inspectorate - Plovdiv and the Ecology and Waste Management Directorate of the Plovdiv Municipality organize a colorful children's celebration with an asphalt drawing contest on the theme "The Colors of Nature". It will take place on 5 June - World Environment Day. The event is organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the environmental holiday, uniting millions of people from around the world, engaging them in efforts to protect and restore the Earth. 
The organizers invite the children of Plovdiv to join the initiative. Groups brought by parents and teachers are also welcome. Chalk will be provided for each young artist. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a quiz to test their environmental knowledge. There will be a raffle with prizes.  The best in the art competition will be awarded with diplomas.
The place of the celebration is the beginning of the central promenade of Bunardzhika in the area of the fountain, immediately above the National Trade School and the Vocational School of Interior Architecture and Woodworking, below the Aqueducts.
