A four-day syncretic cultural event entitled "Pontubis Artis - Bridges of Art" starts on the first day of next week. The project is funded by Plovdiv Municipality and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2023. It is implemented with the valuable support of the Art Academy "Prof. Assen Diamandiev" and will be held in the building of the Academy in the Old Town.

The organizer is the company "Hailevel Sound", based on the author's idea and concept of the famous Bulgarian violinist with an international career - Prof. Dr. Evgeny Shevkenov. It is difficult to list all the artistic achievements of prof. Evgeny Shevkenev as a brilliant violinist, conductor, music educator, mentor, artistic director of music forums, winner of numerous national and international awards, awarded the honorary title of "Professor" by the Ministry of Culture and by a decree of the President of the Republic of Austria last year.

Between 26 and 29 June (Monday-Thursday), the current edition of the London-Vienna-Plovdiv Music Bridge will feature masterclasses, a seminar, a book launch and concert events, headlined by London-based pianist Simon Callaghan and Vienna-based violinist Evgeny Shevkenov - both musicians and pedagogues with distinguished careers and worldwide acclaim.

We invite Plovdiv residents and guests to the closing concert on Thursday 29 June at 7.30 pm in the Concert Hall of the Art Academy Prof. Assen Diamandiev.
