In the year of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great soprano Maria Callas, three extremely talented and wonderful Italian sopranos, Elena Rossi, Marica Franchino and Viola Sofia Nisio with their incredible voices are ready to surprise the whole Bulgarian audience.
The Italian soprano trio, together with the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Hristo Pavlov, will unite their voices in a magical symphonic image with a rich program of classical opera arias, inimitable Italian melodies, Broadway hits and selected works from the world music scene that will not leave any of the spectators indifferent. Their expressiveness and grace in performance make this project unique and extremely charming.
Elena Rossi is one of the special guests on Andrea Bocelli's tour of the USA, Asia and the Middle East. Marika Francino specializes with internationally renowned artists including soprano Daniela Desi. She has collaborated with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation and won numerous awards, such as the Enrico Caruso 2021 Committee Prize. Viola Sofia Nisio has won a number of prestigious world opera singing competitions, most recently winning second prize at the Pienza Opera Singers Competition in October 2022 and second prize at the Magda Olivero Competition in Milan in November 2022. They have each worked with renowned orchestral and stage directors and performed leading roles in the most prestigious theatres in Italy and around the world.
The Italian sopranos trio tour represents a unique opportunity for Bulgarian audiences to enjoy an exciting musical experience that will allow them to be immersed in the world of classical music and the exquisiteness of vocal performance.
In addition to the capital, the tour schedule includes performances in the following cities - Pleven, Pernik, Plovdiv, Vratsa, Karlovo, Varna, Targovishte, Stara Zagora, Sliven and Haskovo.
