Don Airey Allstars Night
Bunardzhika summer theatre
Due to transport chaos at UK airports, Deep Purple keyboardist Don Airey has had a flight cancelled. For this reason, his concert scheduled for August 29 in Plovdiv will not be held.
A new date has been set for the Don Airey Allstars Night concert - 9 September.
Rock titan Don Airey will heat up the emotions to the extreme in the Summer Theatre of Plovdiv.
Deep Purple's keyboardist presents his Allstars Night project for the first time in Bulgaria - concentrating the energy of cult tracks by DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE, BLACK SABBATH, GARY MOORE and other legendary rock bands and artists with whom his musical career is connected.
The pounding dose of rock and roll will be like no other before, because of the dizzying keyboard improvisations that Don Eury marks each track with, which has become a cult for fans.
Don Airey has etched his name in rock history as a featured artist on a host of landmark albums by rock legends such as Black Sabbath's "Never Say Die", Rainbow's "Since You've Been Gone b/w No Time To Loose", Ozzy Osbourne's "Blizzard Of Ozz", "Bark At The Moon", Whitesnake's "1987", Gary Moore's "Out In The Fields", "Still Got The Blues" and many more. The virtuoso keyboardist has toured and performed with Jethro Tull, ELO, Uli Jon Roth, Graham Bonnet, Judas Priest and more.
Since 2002, he has replaced John Lord in Deep Purple, and since 2006 and until now he has been a full member of the legendary band.
At the concert in the Bunardzhika summer theatre, Don Airey teams up with NAZARETH vocalist Carl Stones, the Swede Stefan Berggren and bassist Chris Childs (Thunder, Paul Young). The supergroup also features Kaitner Zee Doka on guitar and Bernhard Welz on drums - both of whom have done numerous projects with Jon Lord, Ian Paice and Bruce Dickinson.
