On July 12, we invite you to the second edition dedicated to animation cinema, where we will show you more than ten films by the legendary Pixar studio - true titans of computer animation.

We'll see some of the studio's first animated films that made Pixar innovators. These include Luxo Jr (1986), Tin Toy (1988) and Knick Knack (1989). We've also included more recent titles to trace the incredible evolution in animation. We'll see the poignant The Blue Umbrella (2013), BURN-E (2009) and the Academy Award-winning Piper (2016).

Pixar Studios was started back in 1979 as part of Lucasfilm's computer division known as the Graphix Group, before being spun off as a corporation on February 3, 1986, with funding from Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. "Disney purchased Pixar in 2006. The studio won 21 Academy Awards, 9 Golden Globe Awards, and 11 Grammy Awards.
