For the 15th time in a row, Rotary Club Plovdiv - Puldin organized a painting plein air, which bears the name "The Creator". The conceptual leader is the artist Matej Mateev. This year the theme of the plein air is dedicated to the personalities of two of the most prominent Bulgarian men - Hristo Botev and Vasil Levski.

The painting plein air "The Creator" is in fulfillment of one of the goals of the organization related to the development of the arts. In support of this mission, Rotary provides opportunities for artists from Plovdiv, the country and abroad to create, with a focus in recent years on the participation of young artists from the National High School for Performing and Screen Arts - Plovdiv, National Art School "Tsanko Lavrenov" Plovdiv and Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts "Prof. Assen Dimandiev Plovdiv. 

The Plein Air Workshop is kindly hosted by the Cultural Center of "The Business for Plovdiv", which provides the opportunity to take place in the  Ivan Chernozemski house at Tsanko Lavrenov str. in the Old Town.  

From 12 July to 21 July, evetyone who is interested can visit the Ivan Chernozemski house and watch the creative process of the participants.

Each year some of the works are dedicated to the revivalists, revivalists and revolutionaries, and at the end of the plein air these works are given to the Municipal Committee "Vasil Levski" for its activities. Another part remains in the fund of the Rotary Club "Plovdiv - Puldin" for charitable purposes. Two works remain in the donation of "Business for Plovdiv".

Traditionally, the painting plein air "The Creator" ends with an exhibition of the works of the participants, which closes the plein air. This year it will take place on 21 July 2023, Friday, at 18.00 in the Ivan Chernozemski house.
