Children and students with Toni Pranzheva
On July 24, at 18.30h. in the Boris Hristov House of Culture will be opened an exhibition - "Children and students with Toni Pranzheva". The exhibition will be opened by the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Archaeology and Tourism Plamen Panov.
"Every creative impulse of mine begins with the most intimate and essential feeling for man - love. It gives us flight and the impetus to build, to be kind and human. To create with love is the "spice" in my works." - the author has repeatedly shared.
Toni Pranzheva lives and works in Plovdiv. She graduated from the National School of Applied Arts in Troyan and then from the College of Design in Sofia. She is a member of the Regional Craft Chamber - Plovdiv. She has participated in a number of collective exhibitions. Her first solo exhibition was in April 2019, at the Boris Hristov House of Culture - Plovdiv, as well as at Balabanov House in Ancient Plovdiv - the same year.
In 2021, the artist from Plovdiv opened a solo exhibition in Vienna at the art space of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in the Austrian capital - Wittgenstein House.
The exposition included 24 works - art ceramics, watercolor and oil, which Toni Pranzheva has united under the poetic title "Lyrics of colours".
Toni Pranzheva is part of the "Kapana Authors - Creative Industries Quarter" as well as the artisan-trainers of the iconic "Street of Crafts" of the Regional Chamber of Crafts. She is also one of the participants in the project "Craft School for Children in Ancient Plovdiv" of the Department of Culture, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Plovdiv in partnership with the Regional Craft Chamber, funded by the Ministry of Culture. Together with 19 other master craftsmen, 100 children per month had the opportunity to learn the most exciting secrets of traditional Bulgarian crafts.
Toni Pranzheva is a ceramic sculptor who talentedly transforms ceramics into impactful panels and objects for the home. Her works are full of colour and positive energy, with sunny sparks and horizons that hospitably invite the viewer to journey into the colourful moods of a gifted artist. For Toni, there are no unfamiliar materials. She works in ceramics as well as watercolor and oil, printmaking and painting on textiles.
"Enjoy the colors of the warmest material- clay. In the joint exhibition of children and adults who attended the art ceramics class at the Street of Crafts in Old Plovdiv you will see the works of people from different age groups. You are welcome! It will be interesting!" said Toni Pranzheva hours before the opening.
The exhibition will run until 30 August.
