The Danish artist with Italian roots, described as "one of the greatest clowns in the world", is touring Bulgaria for the second time. An actor, director and mentor, he is described by the world's critics as a "genius" and "master of comedy" with 8 original productions and over 2000 performances that have literally toured the world. He has won a number of prestigious awards, including the European Comedy Award, Audience Award Festival Santo André, Honorrary Award of the Danish Theatre Association.

"The Letter" will be performed in Plovdiv on 9 September at the Orpheus Summer Theatre, beginning at 8.30 pm. The event is supported by Plovdiv Municipality as part of the Autumn Salon of Arts.

The show captivates audiences of all ages with its authentic sense of humor and colorful acting. In a "less is more" style, with simple set design, no words and no special effects, Paolo Nani's "The Letter" masterfully transforms an ordinary situation into six films, three theatrical performances, a circus show and many more absurdly comic surprises in eighty minutes.

The event is organised by the Hand Theatre.

Besides the meeting of the Bulgarian audience with Paolo Nani, 15 of our actors will have the chance to work with the dictator of European fashion in non-verbal theatre during a three-day intensive workshop, which will take place from 4 to 6 September at the Hand Theatre - Plovdiv.
