BalkanFest is the biggest Balkan music festival in Bulgaria for 2023 will take place in Plovdiv on 22-23 September on the Rowing Canal.
BalkanFest will present the unique diversity, colour and melody of Balkan music.
Guests of the festival will enjoy a true feast of sounds and lively irregular rhythm.
Some of the brightest and best-loved Balkan artists - Dino Merlin, Azis, Cecca, Colonia, Yannis Plutarchos, the orchestra of Kristian Azirovic will be guests at BalkanFest 2023.
Dino Merlin, the singer of "Yorgovani", a favourite musician and songwriter of the peninsula, welcomed with full halls and stadiums, will perform his timeless hits in the city under the hills!
Special guest will be the King of pop folk, the Bulgarian star with world fame - Azis!
The beloved Serbian singer Ceca will sing her greatest hits on the first day of the festival.
On stage we will also see the Greek singer with velvet voice Yannis Plutarchos, who will perform most of his melodic songs - "File", "Giati Eho Esena" and others.
We will experience a lot of fun and merriment with the brilliant musician Kristian Azirovic, named the "best trumpet of Gucha" and his orchestra, which has won many accolades around the world.
The band "Kolonia" from Vinkovci, Croatia, known for their diverse hits and having released over 12 albums, will be the guest on the second night of the festival.
The festival promises more surprises for all spectators, which will be announced at a later stage.
BalkanFest will become a never-ending celebration. The musical journey, gathered in two evenings, will fill all attendees with unforgettable emotions, Balkan spirit and energy.
Festival guests will be able to taste the different types of Balkan cuisine and combine the magic of BalkanFest with a great culinary experience.
The festival's ambition is to take place every year, showcasing the best of Balkan music.
