21.08. KANDINSKY DAY - MODERNISM
Wassily Kandinsky, as part of the theory and practice of modern art, was the first to discover, apply and promote the principles of abstractionism. Typical of Kandinsky's abstract works are Impression, Improvisation, and Composition, which we will focus on in this class. Inspired by Kandinsky's style, together we will create an individual work. Motifs from nature, expression of our inner processes and composition of ideas will be included.

22.08. MATISSE DAY - FAUVISM
Matisse's bold and expressive use of colour and form in his work, over more than half a century, earned him a reputation as one of the best in modern art.
In this class, we will explore the Fauvism style and use rich intense tones and hues. We will experiment with our imagination and recreate our own reality of things. Each participant will walk away with a colorful painting.

23.08. GUSTAV KLIMT DAY - PAINTING WITH GILDING
The painting we will paint in this class is Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" from his "Golden Period", which is characterized by paintings in gilding technique. We will learn more about Klimt's work and the myths surrounding it. Also, each participant will have the opportunity to recreate "their own kiss".

24.08. VAN GOGH DAY - POST-IMPRESSIONISM
Van Gogh's paintings live a life of their own and it is in this class that we will depict the painting "Starry Night" which radiates colour, dynamism, emotion and mood. There is something romantic and magical about it that we will touch on. In this class we will learn about Van Gogh's style and technique.

25.08. DAY OF POP ART
The Pop Art movement emerged in the 1950s in Britain and the United States. The main focus was on depicting the emotion coming from the constant changes in the world, rebellious spirit and mass consumption. On this day we will create a fun painting with a message that aims to visualise our voice.

CLASS PARTICIPANTS WILL:
- learn about the intuitive painting process and style
- experience the possibilities that art provides as a form of communication and knowledge
- work with a variety of techniques significant to the history of art and culture

Duration of each event: 2 - 3 hours
Start each day at 18:30.
Participation fee is payable in advance by cash or card, either by bank transfer or on the spot.
