Elena Bashkirova - Masterpieces of Mozart

The remarkable pianist Elena Bashkirova will perform for the first time in front of the Plovdiv audience as part of the "European Music Festival" 2024, after the concert was canceled for health reasons in the fall of 2023. Her appearance in Plovdiv will be with the Cantus Firmus Orchestra with an all-Mozartian program under the baton of one of our greatest conductors - maestro Georgi Dimitrov. The event is realized with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv. For her upcoming concert, the pianist has chosen to present one of the less frequently performed piano compositions of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 13 in C major. The other works on the program are the Divertimento for String Orchestra in D Major K. 136 and the wonderful Symphony No. 36 "Linz".

Due to the illness of the pianist Elena Bashkirova, the planned concert of Cantus Firmus Orchestra with her participation on 7 October 2023 at 19:00 at the Boris Hristov House of Culture in Plovdiv is CANCELLED. The new date for the event will be announced additionally. Purchased tickets will be valid without validation for the new date.
