In the play "Dinner with Friends" Donald Margulis tells the story of two friendly families who are faced with the existential question - how to go on with our lives if everyday life has overtaken our feelings?
Of course, this question has no clear-cut answer.
Everyone has the right to do as they see fit.
Some choose "freedom," others prefer to "carry the cross," and still others take up piano lessons.
When one thinks about it, there is something both funny and sad in this, as there is in Margulies' play "Dinner with Friends."
