Archaeology for Everyone: The Incredible Story of the Valchitran Treasure

In September, in "Archaeology for Everyone", we take a look at the impressive Valchitra gold treasure. The guide Kaloyan Dayarov will reveal to you "The incredible story of the Valchitran treasure".
From the field with a vineyard near. Valchitran, Pleven region, to the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (NAIM-BAS), compared with the stories of the discovery of various collective finds, that of the Valchitran Treasure is undoubtedly one of the most interesting and most unusual.
The Valchitran gold treasure is part of the NAIM-BAS collection, but is currently in the halls of our museum as part of the temporary exhibition "Power and Strength. The Late Bronze Age in our lands" (20 June - 18 November 2023).
As usual, the talk will be free, subject to payment of an entrance fee, but please note that places are limited!

- regular ticket - BGN 6.
- Students and pensioners - BGN 2.
- Family ticket (families with children up to 16 years) - BGN 10.
- children up to 7 years and visitors with special needs - free of charge
