On 20 September, as is tradition, Aspect Gallery will once again welcome the renowned artist Ilia Zhelev after his three consecutive brilliant visits to Germany - Hanover, Hamburg and Berlin. He will present twenty-one of his latest works, including classical paintings, portrait collages and those with New York themes.
A highlight of the exhibition will be two large collages with resin and fashion subject matter that will undoubtedly capture the interest of modern art lovers.
Ilia Zhelev's exhibitions appeal to connoisseurs of bold, expressive and brightly coloured compositions. Influenced in his work by classical modern European painting and by Bulgarian folklore, the artist always manages to achieve in his paintings an incredible colourful intensity, with which he influences viewers extremely strongly.
