Association for Culture and Education "Milcho Leviev" invites Plovdiv residents and guests to a remarkable and long-awaited concert with the film music of Milcho Leviev, called "Deviation". The event is on Friday, October 6, at 7:00 pm at the Boris Hristov House of Culture. The concert is the final part of the project "Deviation" and is the culmination of a series of events related to the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the birth of Milcho Leviev.

"Or because "music begets music" - in pictures and sound of released and unreleased titles of Milcho Leviev's film music. When a film has told a whole life in its brief minutes, Milcho Leviev's music imprints on the viewer the essence of what is felt and understood. And this is invariably in every film in which his art is embedded with the power of its impact. These film plays stay with the viewer forever and in the most special moments they evoke again the emotion of the experience in front of the screen. This is exactly what will happen in Plovdiv at the premiere of Milcho Leviev's film concert "Deviation", says his wife, vocalist and concert participant Vicky Almazidou.

In addition to well-known titles, the programme will also feature works that have never been presented to the general public and are known only to researchers and those close to the artist. Some of them have new arrangements by Valery Kostov.

In "Deviation" will participate established musicians such as Viki Almazidou - vocal, Antoni Donchev, Alexander Vladigerov - flugelhorn, trumpet, Konstantin Vladigerov - piano, clarinet, Ivo Paunov - flute, saxophone, Vasil Hadjigrudev - double bass, Christian Zhelev - percussion, Valery Kostov - el. Piano, synthesizer, as well as a string quartet from the orchestra of the State Opera Plovdiv. Young talents from the National School of Music and Dance "Dobrin Petkov", Ilina Stoyneva and Elia Todorova will stand on stage alongside the big names. Love in life and love for life will be fueled by compositions from favorite films such as "Diversion", "One Shooting Day", "Hot Noon", "Monday Morning" and many more, turned into songs with poems by Viki Almazidou and Zlatna Kostova.

The project is financially supported by Plovdiv Municipality and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar.
