Festival "Art Clock - Wake up for culture"
From 22 to 24 September, the festival "Art Clock - Wake up to Culture" is moving to Plovdiv to delight the residents and guests of the city with 6 events - a performance, a culinary show, a concert, a book and film presentation, lots of emotions and even more laughter.
Orpheus Summer Theatre opens its doors wide for young and old from 22 to 24 September. The programme will start on Friday 22 September, on the eve of Bulgarian Independence Day. Exactly at 7:30 p.m. will be presented the show "UFO Forever", which will honor the memory of the great Velko Kanev and Chocho Popjordanov. Some of the most successful and beloved Bulgarian actors, including Georgi Mamalev, Anton Radichev and Katerina Euro, will recall iconic songs, sketches and tell their memories of the now defunct TV show "UFO Club".
On 23 September at 18.00, Bogdana Karadocheva and Stefan Dimitrov will meet their fans, present their book "Hopeless Case" and tell interesting stories from their personal and professional journey. Immediately after them, one of our most beloved pop stars Kichka Bodurova will conquer the stage of the summer cinema "Orpheus". With her greatest hits she promises to make Saturday night unforgettable.
On the last day of the festival on 24 September at 18.00 the winner of Hell's Kitchen Stanislav Ivanov will present his culinary skills and tricks. Especially for Plovdiv residents the chef is preparing a culinary show to open the senses of the guests. After the cooking fiesta is over, from 8 pm the festival guests can watch the film "Trust Game" as a special guest of the screening will be the actress Yana Marinova, on whose idea the film was created.
All the events of the program of "Art Clock - Wake up for culture" are free and are supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv.
