The Singer’s Society “Angel Boukoreshtliev“ celebrates World Music Day with an outdoor concert program in the heart of Plovdiv's Main Street.

On 1 October at 11 am, the place known as "The Stairs of Kamenitsa" will be filled with beloved choral songs from all over the world. With this program, the choir continues the series "The Song of the Hills" - performances with a diverse repertoire in symbolic city spaces. The concert features a special appearance by friends of the choir - violinist Stiliyan Dermendzhiev and accordionist Nikola Kosov.

The Plovdiv Singing Society "Angel Bukoreschliev" is at the beginning of a promising creative season. This year the choir has grown considerably. To reach the level of its zenith days, conductor Ilian Tiganev is looking for more talented people with singing passion and skills. The choir is constantly on standby to audition new singers. If there are any hesitators, attending the concert will be a good incentive to join the ensemble with a long history and high achievements.
