On Sunday - 1 October, International Day of Music and Poetry, at 5 pm in Lauta Park will be held the festival "Art without Borders and Age".

On the stage will perform songs, dances and poems Plovdiv residents, members of pensioner clubs in the city. Maestro Micho Dimitrov and the beloved pop singer Hristo Kidikov will be part of the festival program.

"We are looking forward to Plovdiv citizens and guests to support our participants, to have fun together, to sing, to dance and to be together at the celebration," the two beloved musicians said in a video address.

The festival is organized by the National Association for Unity and Partnership, under the project "60+", funded by the Municipality of Plovdiv, included in the Calendar of Cultural Events of the Municipality of Plovdiv for 2023.

Participants in the "60+" initiative implemented a series of initiatives on the eve of October 1, which is also International Day of Older Persons. A few days ago an exhibition of photographs, paintings and applied arts products made by pensioners from all regions of Plovdiv was opened. They showed what they had created during the creative workshops, in which together with professional photographers and artists they acquired skills in fine arts, literature, music and photography. The seniors had the opportunity to be students of the famous artist Asparuh Serbov - Puha, who showed them specific techniques in painting and sculpture. The students also received skills in dance, music, literature and applied arts.
